Emptying at the touch of a button in small format
Vibratory finishing is ergonomic
With disc-type centrifugal finishing machines, workpieces and abrasives are placed loosely in an open-topped
work bowl and set into a toroidal flow through the base, which is designed as a plate. The centrifugal force accelerates the workpieces together with the abrasive media against the stationary, streamlined inner wall of the work bowl. Due to their different densities, the workpiece and abrasive media perform a relative movement.
This dynamic flow enables a high, targeted removal of material with very short processing times compared to vibrators.
processing times compared to vibrators or drums.
In the 6-30 L systems, the working container is emptied manually using a hand lever. This is still the standard. Recently, however, the 18 L and 30 L disc-type centrifugal systems now also have the option of automatic tipping at the touch of a button.
This empties the work bowl slowly and gently. The container can be moved and stopped steplessly with the aid of end position sensors.
The new automatic tipping at the touch of a button makes handling when emptying the work containers much easier. At the same time, this also means that working with the disc finishing machines is even more ergonomic and efficient.
Of course, the simple handling and robust system technology of the disc-type centrifugal disc finishing machines remain unchanged.
